we had little hairs that looked like pubic hair on our sheets in the double bed room with dry snot under the pillow, the sheets also had marks all over them , the room with two beds also had hairs on the pillows, drinks are to expensive, milk for the tea was sour , and marks all over the mirror
i stayed here with my 9 month old son and my mum and sister and couldn't fault it. the staff were wonderful and nothing was a problem at all for them, emailed them to see if they could put a travel cot in one of the rooms and they did it with no extra charge for travel cot hire. the rooms were beautifully spacious and clean and couldn't fault them. the barmaid was wonderful she even went out of the way to interact with my son. would deffo stay here again if we was going to come...read full review

Came to attend a funeral and looking for a central place to stay. Website quoted £30 for a single room (still does 10/23) but said £40 when I phoned. Paid that no problem for 1 person in twin room. Room was quite spacious and refurbished. Not as clean as it might be but OK. Bathroom modern. Didn't have a drink down in the bar but staff friendly enough and there was a log burning stove. Fine as a drinking man's bar. Free parking was bonus. Would stay again.
