Went to the chippy for Food whilst on holiday up here to see my ex wife’s parents (me and Izzy divorced) and ordered cheese, chips and a fish. I was disappointed to find that my chips were GREEN!!!! This is outrageous i couldn’t believe my eyes. I also ordered a water but was given weird yellow liquid that was acidic like lucozode sport. Price: £Taste: 10/10Have never been able to fault the food from Prior Chippy! They are easily the best value chip shop in Berwick and with the tastiest food, they’re usually one of the first choices of takeaway.They have a wide selection to choose from on the menu and are also the only chippy to do battered pineapple rings in town as well, so that’s definitely 5* from me!The pizzas are amazing as well. Ordered some food online here. When we went to pick it up, one staff member had the fish ready and bagged up but were waiting for our peas. They left these on the side for 15 minutes whilst the rest of the order was completed allowing them to go cold. It was clear that the staff members didn’t communicate with each other and it made for a pretty chaotic environment from what I could tell.
