It's clear that this business is suffering so it's hard to stick the boot in but even in a downturn, some things are non-negotiable... like cleanliness. Sticky tables, empty used glasses stacked on tables, boxes of Christmas decorations stashed in a corner, random boxes stored around the pub, a mountain of filthy and worn garden furniture cushions under the pool table and cleaning supplies sat on a table. Had a lovley weekend at the Golden Lion in Corbridge...might be a bit dated but rooms clean and fresh and the Manager Peter made a great breakfast one of the best we have had ..it was cooked beautifully and plenty of it..we will be returning this summer..

Adrian and his team have done a brilliant job. A welcome addition to Corbridge. Somewhere else nice to visit.Food & drinks: Decent choice of reasonably price beers and wines.Noteworthy details: Spotlessly clean olde worlde country inn. Open fires and a nice friendly atmosphere.
