Can never fault here. Food regardless of order is delicious. Staff all friendly.

Been here twice this year, the first time my brown bun was mouldy so they changed the bun and last week I ordered a sausage sandwich which came with one sausage in it. I find it hard to say" not good enough" to a local business but in this case it's not.

Lovely staff! Squeezed me in near to closing time, but didn't rush me or compromise on service. Lots of food had run out for the day (a good sign!) but I was offered soup and a sandwich as a compromise of what I'd been looking at on the menu. Both were very tasty, and I grabbed a box of small pastries to take away - these were delicious. The food was just what I needed after a long drive up to Hexham, and the friendliness of the staff was an ideal welcome to the town :)Vegetarian options: Plenty of veggie options across the menu

We called in twice during the day, the first for mid-morning coffee, the second for coffee and a light snack. Nice place, great staff, good coffee and a good chouse of scones, cakes etc.

Came here for brunch/lunch during the Hexham Bluegrass Festival; started writing review then, but life intervened, so apologies for lateness. We had the full english and it was wonderful. (We had the standard version, but there was a lovely veggie option as well). Eggs just right, wonderful sausages, perfect bacon, and, joy, baked beans in their own little kilner jar- not an affectation, just really sensible. And the breakfast tea was also perfect. Service great, very clean and tidy, lots of customers - would have gone on to the scrumptious looking cakes had waistband allowed. And BRILLIANT value; could not believe the very modest bill. Looking at the menu you can see that someone here knows how to run a very tight catering ship, using top quality and where possible local ingredients deployed very efficiently so there must be minimal waste. This makes it sound a bit soulless, which it is not at all - I meant that it was a joy to see a kitchen being run with organisation, efficiency and respect, and producing very good food at excellent prices- go and see for yourselves. An absolute treat. Will certainly return next time I come up. Thank you all at Small World

Stumbled across this lovely tearooms today whilst visiting Hexham. There was no room inside (always a good sign) so we nabbed the last table outside. I had a tuna sandwich and it was delicious. The coleslaw made it. Exactly what i needed at a great price and fast service. Would recommend ?

Pop in for a take-away coffee from time to time. Not great coffe, milk is often over streached and the shot tastes generic, nothing special. I'm assuming it's Ringtons or Pumphreys. Very non-offensive but very not-great for anyone who appreciates nice coffee. Godd enough to guzzle as a coffee fix.

As a coffee lover it's such a shame a flat white tastes like a latte, and americano s are watery !! Tried severL times but no can go given the coffee, spoke to several other locals who sadly stopped going or taking friends for the same reason, shame s b fasts are fab!!
