I'm a bit biased. American born and Morpeth bound I prefer quality at a fair price. Forget Starbucks I want old fashioned customer service with locally sourced. Central Bean passes muster every time. I'm a bit fussy about my cuppa Joe as I once served behind the counter in Orlando Florida coffee bistro back in the day. Morpeth Sanderson Arcade is a nice respite and Central Bean a must try.
Asked for hot chocolate extra hot as I Had to help someone else drink first.. The barista said that would be fine but the message did not get passed on and the drink was normal so it was cold by the time I drank it
