Me and my partner have just returned from an impromptu one night stay at this brilliant place.The room was cozy and complete with everything you may need. Also dog friendly which will be a bonus for us in the future upon a definite return.The food is a massive 10/10, our dinner was worth every penny, words couldn’t do it justice. What a lovely friendly place, we were unlucky enough to have a breakdown on our car on holiday, no mobile phone cover in the area, local rarity....a phone box was out of order. Beginning to despair. Pub was shut at this time,, but there is a shop at the rear. Da o I tentatively asked if they would be kind enough to allow me to make a phonecall to the R*C for help. What a find!Karen and her super team hosted a large, three generation family celebration in the Courtyard Barn.Everyone commented that the food was excellent - which included burgers, fish & chips, pasta dishes and the amazing pizzas.I'm very envious of the residents of Harbottle having the Star Inn as their local.
