Initially disappointed with the size of the potion of chips... BUT the haddock was to die for. Best fish I've had in at least 12 months (so well over 60 battered fish), it was at least 3/4 inch thick throughout, beautifully cooked and a great batter. The food was brill and the service amazing .staff were kind and helpful just said of course for whatever you asked. there were crab traps and anchors that gave the atmospheric feel the Seahouses normally do but the men's toilet were straight out of Dr Seuss but it had a urinal

Disappointed, the majority of reviews said it was the best fish & chips in Seahouses, but we found the food to just average. Had take away 3 fish & chips, 1 childerns fish & chips and 1 haggis & chips at a cost of £48.00. We have had much better from a number of locations in the North East.
