I really want to give this place a higher rating as I appreciate how important reviews can be. However, it is very difficult to. If we split our visit up into service and food... Food wise, drinks and food was decent although as per other comments, perhaps on the expensive side but it is Seahouses and a captive audience so it is to be expected. Kids all enjoyed their milkshakes and lunches which is always a bonus...! I would comment that my "homemade sausage roll" was served in a paper bag and suspiciously looked like it had been bought from a local shop just 2 minutes before. It was tasty enough but at £5, it came with nothing else at all. Service wise, well, that was a completely different story and I really feel for the girl that served us. Although she apologised for being hard of hearing, it was obvious she was really struggling with the very basics. I think it is common courtesy and good practice to recite customers' orders back to them so there is no confusion. This was not done and therefore there was a lot of back and forth. We had also indicated that although we were sitting together with friends, we wanted separate bills. This also had to be explained a number of times which was frustrating. So overall, we would not return which is a shame as we always look to support local and small businesses where we can.

Dirty !! Spoon was dirty and table sticky. One hot drink at a time - we ordered 4 drinks and she brought 1 at a time ! DO NOT GO !!! Total rip off and no toilet when you have an elderly family member with you and to be told the loo is the public loo across the road. The only reason they have people go in is of where it is. FIND ANOTHER ONE !!!!

Staff member at Rosemary’s here, just wanted to clarify a couple points from the below review: -Prices are clearly labelled on menus and board -We have had to increase prices recently, however this is a reflection of the changing economic landscape -The heating is on from the moment we open to the moment we close

Four of us visited after this afternoon’s boat trip, premises cold, no toilets, ordered drinks & a scone each. When we asked what the bill was:- £30 We weren’t the only ones to query the prices. None of the window nor counter advertisements show prices. Customers beware

Poor service. Uninterested staff. After waiting 25 minutes for two scones we drank our tea and left. I've worked in a cafe before and their service was shocking, I don't know how they survive. Avoid.

Lovely little cafe in seahouses. Came in and was immediately welcomed by staff and was served nearly straight away. Amazing fruit scone my husband had the cheese scone and said it’s the best he has had . Fabulous coffe ( I had a mocha and my husband had a cap ) . Definitely worth coming in to warm up after a beach walk .

My son came out as GAY to us in this establishment on 22nd February 2024! I am a fabulously progressive mother so I congratulated him with a delicious scrumptious slice of FRUIT scone to celebrate his fruity behaviour! Upon ordering, the tall young lady barista with the brown CLAW CLIP told us she was an Ally! She made our GAY son feel very proud of his unique acts with his men! Absolute fabulous young lady catering to the TWINK community of Seahouses! Do NOT eat at Seahouses Caffe eat HERE!! I left this review on THAT place by accident and I am not a technological lady so I cannot delete!

Me and my husband came here for brunch.. the BEST brunch of my life!!! The creamy hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows served by the tall young female waitress had me creaming and salivating ? MMMMMMMMMM!!!!!! Excellent service by our waitress- the only complaint I have is that there wasn't more! I'm 6'2 and my husband is 6'7 so larger portions definitely would've satisfied us to a greater amount for our big bellies ?

Great little dog friendly cafe with great staff who will give you a warm welcome and give a great but no fills service which is just nice. We didn’t notice what the prices were which means we didn’t have a shock!

Called in for a breakfast, large breakfast, regular breakfast and 2 teas £23.Bit taken aback with the price, if it had been quality food, fair enough, but 2 cheap sausages, 2 fried eggs (hard),2 hash browns, 2 thin slices of bacon, I think 1 mushroom and a spoonful of beans, 3 cherry tomatoes and a slice of toast, oh and some rockhard blackpudding, that was the large.Tea was wazzy and the place was freezing.
