Can’t understand the poor reviews - (dog vomit not welcomed - really?) The member of staff on duty today 11th September, was both friendly and efficient, even tho run off her feet with all tables full. We had avery good and hot coffee, a delicious scone ( no harsh tasting bicarb) and toasted tea cake. We were very happy to leave a 10% tip.
First rate experience. My son was poorly with heart palpitations, but also urgently needed a sandwich to take his pills. I explained the situation to the girl behind the till and to my amazement a lady,I assume the owner of the cafe sent me back to sit with my son, and went out of her way to bring the food out to us. A good takeaway sausage roll, however it wasn’t particularly friendly and we were not greeted for at least 5 mins despite standing in front of two waitresses. It was a far better sausage roll than the one from the High Street
