Fantastic place to stay and dine. Friendly staff. Room was immaculate and very quiet. Food was very good, cooked perfectly. Location great for Hadrian's Wall, Roman forts etc.
We've been here a couple of times and absolutely love it!This pub has a great atmosphere and the views are stunning. We've eaten here, also, and the food is lovely-definitely recommend!Walkability: Lovely, quiet village, good for dog walking.Food & drinks: Great food.

Called last minute asking for a table and we were fit in without an issue. Great service, great food, great sense of community. Very reasonably priced and friendly atmosphere in the pub, just what we were looking for for the evening. Thank you!!
