We spotted this restaurant when we were passing and decided to return there on the way back from our appointment. We were glad we did as we both had tasty meals (turkey roast and pie of the day, respectively) for lunch and enjoyed a warm welcome from the staff. We felt the prices were good, too. We will definitely return there when we are next in the area.
Had an amazing meal with a friend. I chose the Cajun chicken burger which was the most delicious chicken burger I’ve ever had. Followed by a yummy apple, rhubarb & cherry crumble with cream (choice of custard or ice cream available too) from the special of the day. Lucy’s service was efficiently, informative & friend with an extra unprompted offer to help with the doors for my wheelchair user friend. We’ll be back ?

A group of 14 adults and 1 infant., booked at short notice for my husbands birthday. Excellent service from the initial phone call to the food on the plate. Super food, far far better than one would expect from pub food. A real credit to the team.
