Very friendly village pub. Visited twice in recent weeks whilst passing through, receiving a warm welcome on both occasions. Food exceptional and reasonably priced. Good choice of beer. Well worth a visit ?
The landlady and landlord ensured our family event ran smoothly. Food was excellent. I was particularly impressed that the chicken roast dinner was actually chicken and not processed chicken slices. A good selection of vegetables and perfect trimmings. Service was swift, especially given that we were a party of around 20 people.Parking: There is a small, but adequate car park, and there is easy street parking directly outside.

Just had a Fish and Chips, which is apart of their fish and chip Fridays they do every 2 weeks, and it was SOOO good, the skin on the fish was delicious and the fish in general was the best I’ve had, the landlords and staff always take care of their customers and they have the best atmosphere, deffo worth every penny! And the visit!
