This is the best italian restaurant in Nottingham hands down. It is such a cosy, little restaurant serving the most amazing, authentic Italian food. Fresh, simple Italian food cooked well. Service was friendly, attentive and helpful. The food is good quality, the prices are more than fair and the menu caters well to dietary requirements (vegan, gluten free etc) but not at the expense of taste. We are slowly visiting every city in the country, for two days we have been in Nottingham. We try to eat at local, non chain resaurants. We are one veggie, one non veggie. On our first night we chose Solo Grano, sat at a bench by the wall. The place is very busy, there are as many if not more take-aways and deliveries than dine-ins and we were lucky.
