I stayed overnight here with my daughter as we were heading into Nottingham for a gig. We had dinner here and a couple of pints Very friendly staff- The pub quiz was on and sounded great fun. Food service was quick and they checked if we wanted the mains and starter close together or not. We got the 44 bus back after the gig. £2 each stop really close byWe slept well in the motorhome. I’d definitely stay again and eat and drink more there- cracking pub!
We stopped here for the night with our motorhome after reading a few reviews, and they were all correct on the premises and hospitality (great staff). The best part is the menu, they a variety of daily specials. We decided to go with 2 mains for £11.49 and they were a great choice, both meals were cooked to perfection. The best way to put a review is, if we were in the area would we come back and from us both it is a loud YES.

Lacks curb appeal but has plenty of free parking, good service and some great quality food offers. Has music playing fairly loud so if that's not your scene then go elsewhere. Try Thursdays for the 2 for 1 burger deals - fantastic value, quality and a fraction of the cost of other pubs in the area. Recommended.
