Little hidden gem slap bang in the middle of Notts. This is an old fashioned boozer with upholstered benches along the walls but it keeps an extensive range of real ale and unusual keg. Warm pork scratchings and the only bar billiard table in the county

I've been in alone or with friends and have always felt welcome. They always have a great selection of beer and the staff are always so friendly and knowledgeable about the beer. I love the place.

Popped in today to try the new menu on offer from D-Grilled dhaba kitchen which is cooking up fresh food within the pub. I had the lamb tikka wrap and it was blummin' lovely! Food is served in a takeaway carton, so you can eat in the pub if you want to, sit outside in the sunshine or take it away to eat if you want/need to (which I did as my lunchtime is short - but I also had a swift half while I was there too ?)Can fully recommend a visit for both drinks and food....
