“Friendly place, with a good choice of beer at reasonable prices. CAMRA award 2023. Sports coverage, but not predominant (screens off the two times I visited). Outside seating area. My sort of pub, and I'd recommend it to friends who share my tastes.”

“A nice pub with some really good beers and ciders. It was a very cosy pub with a warm open log fire. Friendly and helpful staff. The food that was available when we were there though was just various types of pork pie and cheese boards so not a great variety. Also dog friendly.”

“Visited after a walk around Oxton. Lovely bar with a great selection of beers on tap. Excellent friendly staff serving and were able to sit outside and make the most of the warm weather. Food menu looked great but only had a drink but hope to return at some point to try the food.”

“We really did enjoybour food, the mains, deserts and drinks were fab. With lovely members of staff serving us. The only thing that let it down was a table next to us for a 30th Birthday party who were extremely loud and started arguing with each other at one point. We could not even hear each other talk and felt like we were all shouting at each other. Obviously this was out of the staff's control but put us off visiting again unless we can have a private dome outside next time.”

“I would highly recommend this B&B for a short stay. It is nothing grand but we received a very warm welcome and shown to our room. It was all that we needed for our over night stay. Warm,comfortable and very clean. Although over looking the main road through Southwall it wasn't noisy. The staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome and Emma,the landlords wife,even dropped us off at Norwood Park where we were going because we couldn't get a taxi which was above and beyond. Great place. Thank you again to all at reindeer for making our stay so pleasant.”

“We booked our table for four people dining . I had a Bombay chicken skewers for Starters. Then a festive burger for main course. My wife had stake. The festive burger had a deal with a alcoholic drink for an extra £1.50 for a pint. Good value and service from the bar staff. Good atmosphere on a Saturday evening.”
