It's OK.. over priced and has that taken for granted feeling due to the guaranteed visitors. I think they could do SO MUCH MORE THERE!! I wonder if it's a National Trust restriction situation which is confusing given how we and our many many many many dogs trample all over it... lovely that I didn't see one single dog poop.. unlike everywhere else I walk these days. Clearly there is a unsaid agreement that leaving it there for anyone else to walk in etc let alone kids is selfish...read full review

Nice friendly people nothing if to much trouble and the afternoon tea was greatRevisiting this place unfortunately it has not lived up to my previous experience the food is overpriced the choices have gone down the service isn’t greatCould be time of year or cost of living crisis but when you’re paying £20+ per person for tea you expect a decent quality ⭐️⭐️⭐️Wheelchair accessibility: Yes available

Love this place but have an observation for the cafe, we arrived at the till 6 minutes too late to order sausage baps, OK rules are rules I guess but a glance at the Lunch menu ( begins at 11.30) informs me that they will cook meat sausages for a children's meal, vegan sausages on a bap for vegans but cannot cook a meat sausage and put it on a bap for a non vegan if the length of the queue means you don't order it by 11.30.
