Sometimes the food is great, sometimes it tastes like it’s been reheated from yesterday. Mostly we go to find that it’s shut. We always check on Google first but have found we turn up and they’re closed but never updated their hours on Google especially around the holidays!
This chippy used to be amazing when it first opened! Couldn’t fault it! Sadly, I moved away but when I found myself in Bicester one evening I thought, brilliant! I’ll go get me some of those delicious large chips from Finest Catch. WOW! What happened? Disappointment doesn’t quite cover it! I only ordered chips, thankfully! The most important part of a good chip shop is good chips. These guys haven’t cracked it. Chips always taste like they’ve undercooked the cheapest potatoes they could find. It also, bizarrely, seems to be the most expensive chip shop by far.Had chips from there 3 times now and won’t be revisiting.
