We always call in for a meal at The Plough when we are visiting the area. The landlord knows us as as Mr and Mrs St Albans (our home city)! This is a super pub and restaurant and Guy and his team are always very welcoming.
We stayed one night in the new cabin/ pods recently invested in by the owner Guy and his team. What a fabulous stay ! From the moment we arrived Guy was the consummate exemplary host. Nothing was too much trouble. The pub had a wonderful atmosphere and you could sense the clientele were enjoying every moment. Very high recommended. I am Dairy & Gluten free, very well catered for and could not do enough for my family and I. Awkward to get too but more than worth it. Will be visiting again soon!
