A nice place to stay.We selected the rooms below to avoid the long haul up the stairs near the Inn .There is a car park in the Inn (only for3 to 4 cars).But a 5 min walk away is a spacious and safe car park. Its via a back alley by the Church and you see the glorious flowers tended by the flat owners as you walk past, Burford boasts of some fine eateries and pubs.Smashing tea rooms and shops with little artefacts. A wonderful 15C coaching house in the centre of Burford. Superbly friendly and knowledgeable staff, a good breakfast with a huge range of choices. English breakfast cooked to order. Try and get the Trafalgar room with its sloping floors en suite full bathroom and full of original hustory. Check out the bullet hole in the windiw frame dating from the Civil War riots. Stick your finger down it to feel the musket ball still embedded in it.

Great hotel we had a quirky room in the eaves but it was full of character. Staff were very attentive without being over the top. Thoroughly recommend staying here and a great breakfast too.
