We use this Costa regularly as it is local, so ratther than rate a single visit I will give a broader view of our experiences. Most poeple know what a Costa is, the food is the same across them to a large degree, even a toastie - out of the packet and into a commerical oven for XX seconds, so quality is IMHO about the same at every Costa. Too less staff and extremely late service. Being from North east it's so difficult to have such a slow service. The staff works so leisurely that we have to wait even when there is less queue. It's was busy when I visited but just one staff working at a time. Definitely needs either more staff or quick service

Took ages for a small hot chocolate and cake. As good as the young staff are, they are an improvement, they are like headless chickens with no on taking charge. Lost count of how many people they served before me, after coming in after me because they were ordering cold drinks.
