Great little chip shop in the centre of the Shilton Park estate. I’m from Scotland so we love to deep fry everything and it’s hard to get stuff that would remind me of home down here. I’ve requested a few things that aren’t on the menu like a Scottish Burger and the service there is fantastic. They have a laugh with you and are quick and efficient in serving you. Welcoming place. Warm after the cold evening. Clean too. The chips were, ever so ever slightly greasy, for my liking but more than great though. The battered fried sausage was crisp. My only thing was I think it may have been sitting for a bit, and they seemed quiet so I didn't have the heart to ask for a fresh one.The curry sauce was nice, not too sweet and of an okay temperature.All in all, for a chippy that I randomly tired after an internet review, very good. Poor food , fish very soggy ! I wanted nice crispy batter, chips ok! Curry sauce needs improvement it was like water,and no flavour. £12.50 wasted. Also asked about gf was met with attitude as if too say why would we do that !! Sorry burford road is so much nicer ...Dietary restrictions: No gluten option
