Absolutely loved the day we spent here! A perfect place for a get together, so cosy and outstanding food. The staff and manager were so efficient and willing and we felt really welcome. The sculptures in the garden were a great surprise as well, loved taking a frosty stroll around the garden and fields and seeing the sights.
Traditional English pub. Impressive wine list. You could see they were very busy but we were still well taken care of. Service was very friendly. As for the food it was exceptional! Beautiful garden. We hope to return in the near future.

The chef here creates dishes of great subtlety... clever and delicious.Excellent service from people who know what they are doing.At £30 for the lunch menu, it is also a bargain.A noisy male table near us didn't appear to know that they were in a great restaurant!
