“Absolutely fantastic little pub.Came in on Sunday evening and despite having stopped doing food at lunchtime, the landlord very kindly offered to get us some leftovers from the carvery. Probably the best gammon/chicken/lamb I've ever had in a pub, and excellent vegetables and potatoes.Draught beer was very good, and the atmosphere was quiet (as it was late on Sunday) and very friendly.Would definitely visit again at a more normal time, thank you!”

“Visited a few years ago, wasn't a very nice experience.Visited a couple of weeks ago, new landlord & lady, both really friendly and welcoming. Pub is cleaner, generally seems to have a better atmosphere and the beer selection is excellent, probably the best in town. Will definitely be coming back!”
