In spite of a large party on another table tonight we were served quickly and the food was hot and delicious. All the staff were very pleasant. Thank you for a great evening. Highly recommend.
The food was underwhelming & the prices were higher than I'd expected. Soft drinks at nearly £4 per drink (and that was just lemonade) and though the landlady was pleasant, they weren't well staffed. Also the toilets were out of loo role.Kid-friendliness: The landlady was nice enough, but we didn't feel very welcomed. When I asked if they had highchair I was told "they're over there" I couldn't see one anywhere! It transpired that they were in the entrance...read full review

I was met by by a smiling, polite and welcoming member of staff.The real ale was amazing also the food was brought out quickly considering the pub was extremely busy.Also on leaving the same barmaid that first served me shouted thank you and goodbye, I believe her name was Abbey.
