My friend and I had a wonderful afternoon tea on Saturday at The Grocer Chef. The standard of the food was absolutely outstanding and the members of staff were all so lovely. I’ve paid much more for afternoon teas in other places but never had such a wonderful selection of sandwiches, scones and cakes.
Grocer Chef provided a fabulous afternoon tea for my dads 93rd birthday treat today. Extremely well priced compared with other local afternoon teas (£14.95 pp) with limitless tea & coffee and so much to eat for three of us we had to take some home. We sat outside in the sun with a very pleasant drink and cake, the seating was comfortable and the place was very busy, able to cope with a large number of cyclists who arrived while we were there.
