“You've got it all at the City Arms in Oxford! Food, service, atmosphere are spot on. Bonus: a pool table, live sports and amazing bottomless brunch.”

“Amazing. I have a serious nut allergy and the care taken over something suitable was above and beyond anything I have ever experienced before. I was amazed by the reaction when I aplogised for being a pest "Your health is the most important thing".
Now if only this attitude could be at other places....
And when I come back to Oxford - this will be my go to location for a break. All that remains is for me to say "THANK YOU" X
Dietary restrictions: Nut allergy - including peanuts.”

“Was very busy on a Sunday lunchtime, our mistake to arrive early for our table. Initially all seemed a bit chaotic and thought about leaving but once seated we were well looked after. The team here is caring and works very hard. Well kept beer, remember to pull a full pint guys :)
Food tasty and nice presentation, only criticism there wasn’t any crackling with my roast pork.
It’s modern on the inside - worth noting if you prefer ‘cosy’ old school country pubs but that’s a matter of personal taste.
Would go back because it definitely deserves a second chance.”

“Ben and his team were amazing. My daughter booked the table originally then had to keep adding more people. We were 17 in the end. Ben always said it was no trouble. The food was amazing. I had the roast chicken. It was the best I have ever had. It was juicy and tasty along with all the trimmings. Definitely 5* I can also say everyone said their roasts were perfect too. Everything was served with a smile despite all of us being noisy and a little cramped. It’s a small pub.Desserts didn’t disappoint either. Everything tasted freshly made. We will definitely be going back. Thank you so much. We really had a great experience.”

“Had mulled wine, which was good! Helpful and nice staff. Do not charge your electric skateboard here. People at the bar are chill!”
“Over the moon that The Cape now accepts cash again, two years ago they did not and it made me very sad. Good times, thanks guys!”
