It's a proper pub with some good beers to try . Nice service vegan food, too. Vegan breakfast could do with a bit more quality, personally speaking. Coffee and tea was very good
Well, this is one of those pubs that I trundled over to visit, namely because I had driven past here the last time I was in Oxford (which was something like ten years previously), but I hadn't managed to actually visit all that many (and I wasn't taking notes either). Well, yeah, I'll say that this one actually wasn't all that bad, probably because it happened to have a nice beer garden out the back, and that there also happened to be some decent beers on tap. Amazing food for a fabulous price. Loved the burgers so much and the portion sizes are massive. Perfectly cooked and I definitely recommend upgrading the fries to poutine or beef dripping tots. The best part of the dinner had to be the Biscofff cheesecake. Definitely going to get that ordered on the poker night that happens every Monday.
