Had a great meal with 3 friends. The food was very nice. Poppadoms were excellent.The table was too small ( for 3)for the food, so it was cramped. Staff excellent.January 4th I'm back. Warm welcome. Lovely music in background with flute.Solo visit. Very nice. Ordered a few different starters as not too hungry. Again, the staff very friendly and helpful. 3rd visit to this restaurant when we have been in the Oxford area. The food and staff are all excellent and we will certainly eat there again.Atmosphere a little subdued but then we have only been there

My college and I dropped in to Spice Lounge on a Monday evening around 10.30.Although they were probably getting close to closing they made us feel very welcome and the food we ordered was the best Indian food I have ever tasted. I have been to many many Indian restaurants but the food here was the best of all.We hope to return soon when we are in Oxford againMany thanks to everyone at The Spice Lounge
