Pretty quiet when we got there which was great, ordering at the bar was a bit slow but food arrived pretty quickly and was good. We all had different types of burgers, all were satisfied with their meals, plenty of chips!

There were 6 of us for lunch we all ordered 3 courses. The pub was very sparcely decorated for Christmas basically like they couldn't be bothered.2 of us had Christmas menu. I had peppered mushrooms on brioche which was lovely, followed by Christmas dinner, roast turkey etc, vegetables tasted terrible like soap powder, turkey not much better and pig in blanket hard. I had christmas pudding bakewell for pudding that was goodMy husband had pigs in blankets to start, good portion about 8. Then steak with shrimps, tough as old boots, cheesecake for pudding good. The others had tortillas which were homemade and looked amazing as were the burgers.Shame as this was a very hit and miss meal, price was good but quality not always soParking: Free parking plenty of spacesKid-friendliness: Very child friendly

The steak is carbonized; it's inedible.

On a visit from Canada. First time at the Tandem. Excellent food, very friendly staff and a very reasonable price. Well worth a visit!

Very enjoyable two meals and puddings. Only negative was no gravy with meal so had to ask.

A large, very reasonably priced mains menu of good quality and portion size. Excellent value.

Always nice and hot food!! Very pleasant staff always happy to help but Daniel is exceptional, at all of our visits. He’s always on the ball… taking orders, clearing tables, etc.

Food wasn't great how does it come out with burned chips from a deep fat fryer ? Portion size very small , had to order a take away when I got home . The service was very friendly and very nice however.

I would not recommend it if you just want real ale. Lager in abundance, but no proper English ales. A shame if that's Kennington's finest.
