There were 6 of us for lunch we all ordered 3 courses.The pub was very sparcely decorated for Christmas basically like they couldn't be bothered.2 of us had Christmas menu. I had peppered mushrooms on brioche which was lovely, followed by Christmas dinner, roast turkey etc, vegetables tasted terrible like soap powder, turkey not much better and pig in blanket hard. Always nice and hot food!! Very pleasant staff always happy to help but Daniel is exceptional, at all of our visits. He’s always on the ball… taking orders, clearing tables, etc.

Pretty quiet when we got there which was great, ordering at the bar was a bit slow but food arrived pretty quickly and was good. We all had different types of burgers, all were satisfied with their meals, plenty of chips!
