Just stopped off here by chance on the way back from nearby lovely Broughton Castle. It's a lovely, friendly pub with the most delicious and authentic Greek food we've had for years. The owner is lovely too! The garden area overlooking the fields out the back has some beautiful views. The only slight negative was that we were overcharged (as we found out later), but to be honest the service was so good we didn't mind leaving it as a tip instead. Pulled in for a water and oil check, and saw the pub sign,nice little country pub friendly landlord, we paid another visit on our return journey, pub was quiet and was not doing food, however they agreed to put on some bowels of chips as we where hungry on our steam day journey.

Spent a wonderful night at this unique pub. The proprietor Stamatis is a lovely man. His hospitality is second to none. The room was a bit small but comfortable with a good en-suite shower. Our Greek Platter for dinner was lovely as was the healthy breakfast. Great value & an amazing experience!
