Whilst the food (12-plate taster menu) and service were exceptional, our experience was let down by the misleading 13.5% service charge. When you mention such a charge, customers believe that a fair proportion of it will go to the workforce. Surprised by a higher than normal charge, I asked if the server would benefit from it and was told “no”. I was absolutely appalled. Lucky enough to have a 12 course Thai menu voucher gifted to us. Have been to the Beaconsfield restaurant previously and loved it! Was intrigued to see how this location would compare! The food was amazing. Very tasty, good portions, great flavours. Drinks were nice, bit pricey for a mocktail to be £10 but hey, you pay for good quality. My daughter has been raving about this place so we booked a nice little surprise for our daughter's birthday. The most important thing is our daughter loved it and the food was pretty good. The surroundings are wild and interesting. It was not a place we would have chosen if not for our daughter. I did feel the oldies had rolled into town. It was incredibly busy but a fantastic lively atmosphere. The deserts were fantastic along with the service.
