“Liver and Bacon !! Loved it in this very traditional village pub after some country walks around this interesting village with scattered, large wood carvings of owls. Need to investigate what the owls are for ?!

“We decided to try "recommended by the chef 5 courses". So you will pay 45£ per person. Don't expect to be overfilled with food but for that amount of money the portions are more than reasonable and decent. The product quality is really high class so you'll not be disappointed with the selection.”

“This was a wonderful find in such a remote location. The chef is very good indeed and Molly our waitress a real gas.
Thank you for such a delightful supper; the lamb was lovely, and Carol’s prawn totally delicious. She loved it. One hint…a small basket with slices of baguette would be very welcome for mopping up sauce. Mmm. Wonder if we can get there again soon…?

“First time, and also took my mother here who was visiting from Wales, so a bit of a risk with a few loud but friendly drunkards at the bar, but food was decent and tasty enough, served by a polite young lady. I liked the old school choices on the menu. Recommended.”
