Fantastic atmosphere, friendly staff and locals. Food was excellent, wel cooked and presented. The Gammon (locally sourced), eggs and Chips were truly yummy as was the Fish Pie my wife had. A lovely evening was the result!
The perfect, cosy pub atmosphere with a vast menu to choose from. Typical pub meals on offer - fish and chips, steak and always pie or bangers and mash, but also lots of other things to choose from, including starters, vegetarian options, and desserts. Carmel and Bill are friendly and relaxed. Rotating menu of ales on tap, as well as spirits, wine, aperitifs, and digestifs! I think this is the 1st full 5 star review I've made. My favourite pug in England. Stunning garden in a very peaceful village. The food is great & well priced, the service is fast and everyone at the pub is friendly.Parking: Maybe 5-7 spaces and a few more on the road. Although it's normally a quiet pub.
