Clean but little atmosphere. Serves its purpose as a break during walk.

Visited for a coffee as a group of 8 including children, unfortunately I did not catch the lady who served us name, but I cannot fault the service which she provided, was very polite and efficient. Also made an amazing coffee for us all including a very well presented hot chocolate. Will return if I’m ever in the area

We came here for a hot drink and a lunchtime snack. The cappuccino were good and reasonably priced, but the sandwich, although nicely presented (with dressed salad garnish) was expensive for what was served. The staff were pleasant and friendly. The choice of drinks (including alcoholic) was good and the menu included a good selection of dishes ranging from snacks to more substantial meals. The range of cakes and baked items was good and they all looked tasty. Food is cooked and prepared to order so you may have to wait a bit depending on what has been ordered before you.The view over the moorings and reservoir is nice and there are plenty of tables indoors and out.The toilets (unisex with wash basins and hand dryers in the cubicles) had plenty of toilet paper and soap, but could do with a proper clean as the floors and walls were very grubby. We will return next time we're in the area.

We visited yesterday(June 24th) because we couldn’t get in for lunch somewhere else.We decided on the the cheese sandwich at £7.69 and at that price thought it was going to be more than a regular sarnie. When they arrived we just looked at each other. ?Two smallish slices of rather dry sliced bread with a wedge of cheese on it. We needed a mouthful of a drink with each bite but we were very bit and hungry so we had to make do.There were several trays left by customers that were completely ignored and, no, it wasn’t busy.Tables weren’t wiped down between customers and the cafe itself didn’t seem as clean as it could be.The toilets were disgusting as well. I rarely leave a bad review for anything but had to this time. We won’t be returning no matter how hungry we are.
