This is a very traditional English pub, not far from Rutland Water. The food was good and reasonably priced and the staff were very attentive. We really enjoyed our meal and drinks. A great stop off if you are in the area.Vegetarian options: There were vegetarian options on the menu.Parking: There is a good sized parking area next to the pub.
Went for a drink today on our way through - wasn’t planning on eating here but food smelt & looked great so we took a chance and gave it a try!! (we are fussy eaters). So glad we did, it was a fabulous Roast. A tad expensive at £16.95 each - £8.25 for kids, however we had Beef and got plenty of slices each, a great sized yorkie, plenty of veg and potatoes plenty!! Nice little find here, we visited mid afternoon and so there were few visitors at the time, hence the slightly low mark for atmosphere. Staff were lovely, good selection of wines and beers.
