Lyndon Rd, Manton, OakhamIf you were to site a garden centre in a beautiful setting in Rutland,then it would be overlooking Rutland water(which this is),so this place has a head start, but there is much more to a garden centre than just fantastic views, having said all of that I shall watch this place with great interest,it obviously has great potential,it is very close to another very fine garden in Rutland, but I think it has some way to go yet.

Waterside Cafe
Normanton Rd, OakhamVisited for a coffee as a group of 8 including children, unfortunately I did not catch the lady who served us name, but I cannot fault the service which she provided, was very polite and efficient. Also made an amazing coffee for us all including a very well presented hot chocolate. Will return if I’m ever in the area

Four Foxes Cafes
Normanton Rd, Edith Weston, OakhamOrdered a tuna sandwich and 2 mugs of tea and that's what we got. Simple and straightforward. Ate lunch with a lovely view of the water. Only minus I would say was this place needed more staff and a bit of a spring clean. Only had 1 serving and 1 in the kitchen. Tables were dirty and needed wiping over. There was a large queue to be served. 2 members of staff I saw were friendly and polite.
