“The room was very clean and well presented, the tea and coffee facilities were excellent. The food was great as was the service, breakfast was excellent as well.
I was very harsh on dropping 1 star due to the duvet being too thick for me and there was no alternative, so I didn't sleep well. Also the bedside tables in the room I was in are pretty much unusable due to the size of the lamps on them.
I do fully recommend The Black Bull as somewhere to stay and will certainly try to stay there again next time I'm in the area!”

“We really enjoyed our " Lunch for Even Less" - such tasty but clever food, and the atmosphere was warm and comfortable. The puddings and petit fours were lovely.”

“We had a lovely evening here. Good food, good beer. Nice outside seating area undercover, although we had a seat by the door.”

“Friendly service, good beers and plenty and I do mean plenty of screens for sport watching. Small but brilliant for it.”

“Amazing food and service. Delicious roast dinner and excellent veggie option - the best we’ve had. Such a friendly happy fun pub to visit. Highly recommend.
Vegetarian options: The most delicious veggie roast, not an after thought - cauliflower cheese was so good, plus a tasty roasted veg tart with all the expected trimmings. Great quality, good price, fun friendly service.”
