We were staying in our caravan at Stretton Lakes (also 5*) and this was the closest restuarant. What a find. Fabulous food, helpful friendly staff and we returned 3 days later it wa so good. Will definitely be returning when we come back next year.
I went with my wife, son, Mum and Dad for my 41st. All 5 of us enjoyed the food and drink. The pub itself is periodic and contains a charm fitting for the beautiful county it is in. The menu is short because of the dishes are made on site. I had soup to start, followed by a roast with huge Yorkshire pudding and plenty of veg to share with the table and nice desert and coffee. Cannot fault it and will return.

The best place to meet friends and family for a meal! We had a superb Sunday lunch yesterday. The menu was appealing, the food was beautifully cooked and delicious, the staff, as always, were welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. And it's lovely to see an open fire when you walk in. See you again soon.
