The food was great but customer service needs work. I was looking at the chalk board with the selections only to be barked at by one of your staff. Until I sat down - then a menu was handed to me. If you do not want customers looking at the chalk board prior to ordering they must be sat down to see a menu… we really should be informed when walking through the door instead of being scolded of not being mind readers. Have been here a few times now and the experience has been the same. The food and drink are very nice, it's just very haphazard when your food and drink will arrive. My wife's coffee arrived while I sat with my full breakfast and no drink, then her food arrived 10 minutes later at the same time as my coffee. As somebody who is extremely hesitant to try new places I am so glad I gave cafe society a chance!Once you're in the atmosphere is lovely, the staff are friendly and helpful and it's very comfortable!The favourites part of the sandwich menu is very well curated and they're all delicious and the soup and coffee is lovely too.
