Blas coffee is a real hidden gem in the middle of Alexandria, located at the front the fishmongers. To be fair I hadn't noticed it until I was looking for local places to support in the midst of the pandemic instead of the usual starbucks or costa. Was in Alexandria with work and was a little early, so decided to grab a coffee and something to eat. Being 8am the choices were pretty limited, but I noticed that Blas Coffee Ltd had just opened up for the day. Basically a small coffee shop attached to a Fishmongers, but its got a really nice and inviting feel to the place. This is an excellent local coffee shop which serves strong silky coffee that is a cut above Costa and not as pricey. Lovely service from the owner too and they also have a selection of freshly baked cakes and breads that are delicious. I hope this coffee shop is around for a long time as it is something the area, and coffee lovers like myself, need.
