On a visit to Annan doing family research and went to the Blue Bell Inn as the building had been owned by my great (x3) grandfather 200 years ago. A nostalgic visit but it turns our the pub is very nice experience: good beer and cider. Next time in Annan, I'll return for a pint.
The Blue Bell never fails to impress, a wonderful smile always awaits from the fabulous bar staff and a perfect pint pulled every time. There's always a friendly local to chat too and the ambience and history of the old place ouses out from every corner. There is a great wee sun trap in the courtyard, a piece of countryside in an urban setting.

Spent a few evenings in the Blue Bell Inn last week whilst staying in the area fishing. Cracking Pub with friendly and helpful staff. Well kept beer and dog friendly too. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area
