Cycled here from Oban, and was lucky enough to have time for lunch. Two vegan options available. We went for hearty (vegan) soup with bread baked by Mary. There was an impressive selection of lush looking cakes bakes by locales - one vegan choice. Tables outside in the sun with a view of the Atlantic, with home cooked good. Nothing nicer. Perfect place for a vegan lunch after cycling down from Oban. Carrot and butterbean soup was delicious with tasty bread baked by local 'Mary' on the side. Other vegan options were available, including cake. Staff also gave a warm welcome.Dietary restrictions: Vegan options available

Two visits in one day. Delighted to find the centre, find some information and maps, and enjoy some well earned tea and cake after morning walk. Cake selection was impressive and everything we tried was fresh and tasty. Staff really friendly and chatty, gave us some ideas for the afternoon.Fortunate to book a slot for Friday night fish and chips, which we collected at our allotted time. Impressive portions and lovely crispy fish, and chips. End to a perfect day on Luing.
