23, Cullipool, ObanExcellent visit and lunch. Staff are lovely and the centre allows dogs. Nice loos and lots of local info, plus wee gifts. Definitely must visit if coming to the island. A walk on the beach to find fools gold in the slate was also a highlight.

Tigh An Truish
Clachan-Seil, ObanA unplanned trip out to Tigh An Truish proved to be a great way to spend some time around Clachan-Seil.
The drive down to Tigh An Truish was very scenic and as you arrive you drive over the fantastic and historic arched bridge which provides a wonderful setting for the hotel and restaurant.
Thankfully on arrival there was room to fit us in for a spot of dinner. The staff were very friendly making us feel immediately welcome.
The menu offered a nice range of food which was very much enjoyed.
All in all, Tigh An Truish was a great experience. A wonderful historic inn set in beautiful surroundings.
Should you find yourself in the area then don’t hesitate to visit as this is a special place on Scotland’s West Coast.
