Despite eating in the Princess Rose since the Wonderland days (1981 onward), I hadn't been in for a few years, the refurbishment looks pretty good and the newly formed adjunct has created a handy additional dining area for at a guess 30 covers, even if busy there's more chance of success with an on the day booking or as a walk in.The food was excellent, albeit we thought overpriced. We went on Saturday the 24th of February. The restaurant was very busy which is always a good sign, nice place and nicely decorated. Service was very good and the meal it's self was lovely. The only down side is that it seems very very expensive. £48 for just two main meals, a coke and a ginger beer and lime. No starters or desserts.

Having travelled 370 miles to visit family, we chose this restaurant for our meal together... only to be rushed out in an hour.Don't get me wrong, the food tastes fine, but I'm still unsure whether we were supposed to order to share among each other, or one dish per person?Overall, very expensive fast food.
