Went on a trip with mates in the local area. We found the place to be really cosy, and was genuinely touched by how welcoming the two owners were. The locals were friendly too. Guy tending the bar seemed to genuinely take care when pulling a pint too - proper good local and would come here again - as would all mates!
Friendly welcome. Nice atmosphere. Good food. We had burgers and fish and chips. Only parking for two cars so park and walk down the road to it. It was snowing the day we went so take care as the road in is steep!

Came for drinks after a walk and it was a perfect experience. Sat outside in the lovely weather. The other people drinking were lovely and polite too. Service was great and drinks were spot on. Was just what we needed after a walk. Will definitely be coming back again.
