Came in Mothering Sunday, served by a lovely young girl who was extremely friendly and made me very welcomed! Would definitely come here again if she was working as she made the pub feel homely! Food was great couldn’t complain, suggesting to family and friends.

Fife Lodge Hotel

Never stayed at the Fife Lodge, however service is always great, food is delicious fresh and local. Reasonable prices at the bar too!Food & drinks: Beautiful fresh and local food.

Delight Cafe Gallery

We happened upon this lovely cafe in search of somewhere doggy friendly and we are so glad we did! What a gem of a place. Lovely food, great hosts and lots of lovely souvenirs available.We will be back!

Portsoy Ice Cream

Been twice now and love the bubble waffles, cinnamon buns and the ice cream flavours (as well as traditional flavours, the alternatives are fun and yummy).A long queue both times, but it was worth it and somehow we managed to find seating easily both times (thankfully most customers do takeaway, which helps).

Seafield Arms

Away from the hustle and bustle after Christmas ? nice room,great food, cozy fire and a surprise in the bar in the evening with a great singer , definitely will be back in summer great adventure and bouncy castle for the kids , lovely family and pet ?

The Railway Inn

A very friendly and relaxing place to have a pitstop from the heat!! Landlord and regulars were all very friendly. A terrific range of around 100 whiskeys, all arranged alphabetically! Would recommend to anyone visiting Banff. 5 stars! ?

The Shore Inn

This pub doesn't serve food which is a big plus for me. The beers are pretty good the locals very friendly and the bar maid hilarious. Grab a beer and sit outside on the harbour wall.

Cherry Tree Cafe and Bistro

A must visit, Banff is so lucky to have Cherry tree. The staff are always give a warm and friendly welcome. The festive bagel is to die for!! All home bakes and coffees are a hit, never had a bad experiences only leaving planning my next visit ? Sat enjoying the cookie I took home and thought they deserved a 5 star review since we have been so many times now and always had a great experience

The Banff Deli

Absolutely the best Afternoon Tea I have ever tried, keep them the same and they will never have a bad review, we even kept some for the next day and the sandwiches were still soft and fresh. We will definitely be having more Afternoon Teas from the Banff Deli x

The County Hotel

Our stay at the County House was delightful. Eric and his wife gave us the warmest welcome. Eric cooks divinely - dinner and breakfast were both amazing. We were in a lovely room with an absolutely gorgeous view on the town and the sea. Thank you!

Freddies Chip Shop

The ordering was straightforward and preparation wasn't so long from start to finish. Perfectly cooked fish and chips, fish was piping hot ? the curry for the cheese, chips and curry was very tasty, not too spicy and fruity which was an Ideal taste for the curry sauce.

Rex’s Kitchen

Alright. If you are looking for a review from a Chinese specialist... I'm not. I will say more... place doesn't look the business, it is very modest. But I did not come there to admire the fit out. I came looking for something nice and I got it! Great value, really good taste and best to describe... unlike network set ups... plentiful & gentle on stomach. Thanks Chef!

The Boyndie Visitor Centre (Boyndie Trust)

A wonderful place to visit. The grounds and wooded walks are delightful, with plenty to see. There's a great outdoor play area for kids with a large connect four set, building blocks to make towers, a play house, a basketball hoop, and more. All free of charge.The shop inside is something else, it is completely charming and laid out like a mini indoor street. Many local artisans sell their wares, you'll be spoilt for choice!It also has a plant nursery and garden which is at its very best in the Spring and Summer.There is also a café with great food with a home-cooked feel, not a deep-fryer in sight, utilising local produce where possible. Very reasonably priced as well, and the staff are wonderfully cheerful and helpful.More than all of this, the Boyndie Trust provides job coaching and development for adults with special needs, with the Visitor Centre providing job and volunteering opportunities, overseen by training leaders.It is a true gem of a location, with something for everybody.

Castle Bar

Brilliant pub fantastic atmosphere. Staff were really friendly. The locals were welcoming and friendly. Lovely pictures and memorabilia up in the walls all around the pub. Couldn't believe how cheap it was in here for the drinks, and it has my favourite drink, Tennants. Will definitely be back

Indian Garden Restaurant and Takeaway

First time here.Very friendly staffNice looking restaurant5 of us ate there and 1 was a vegan.Great choice and what we all ate everyone said was really good and reasonable priced.Would definitely go back.

Happy Palace

Excellent takeaway, I walked in and ordered but the phone rang almost non stop with orders while I waited. The young girl serving is an asset, totally unflappable between answering the phone, dealing with counter orders, doing the collections. Deserves a pay rise!I’d a special curry and my wife had sweet & sour chicken and a large fried rice. They were both perfect, very generous portions and reasonably priced.I’ll be back!

Home Bakery

Situated on Banff High Street, this is a small shop, however it has a fantastic range of breads, pastries, cakes and assorted patisserie. It is easily within walking distance of St Marys car park and bus stops are situated close to the shop whether entering Banff from the east or west. The shop staff are friendly, efficient and always willing to help with any queries. I would throughly recommend a visit to sample this bakers fare.

Station Hotel, Portsoy

Stayed 1 night had a fantastic meal with amazing service. Hotel lived up to all expectations. Will come back another time soon.Rooms: Comfortable bed spacious shower all the things in you could ask for.Nearby activities: Amazing harbour with loads of history fantastic cafe that stared in a TV film an amazing marble shop with everything you could want.Safety: You just had to make sure that you and any family stayed away from cliff edges.Walkability: Was not that very far and that was for a couple that ain't to good on their feetFood & drinks: Fantastic food in the hotel and harbour with other takeaways as well.Noteworthy details: The harbour where they filmed TV stunts.

Crown Chippy

I travel from Birmingham every week and we both think the food is absolutely incredible. Fresh and hot fish. Cannot recommend this chippy enough. And the price, well I would definitely pay double what I paid for our food. Absolutely amazing, we will be returning. The lady who serves us was lovely and it really makes a difference.

Pyramids Takeaway

Just got the favourites offer, brilliant the prices are spot on for what the other takeaways are charging around banff and the couple serving feels like you're at home while they cook your food will definitely be back

Garden Arms Hotel

Came for drinks after a walk and it was a perfect experience. Sat outside in the lovely weather. The other people drinking were lovely and polite too. Service was great and drinks were spot on. Was just what we needed after a walk. Will definitely be coming back again.

Good food and prepared to order. The only reason I deducted a star is its cash only, and I don't carry cash. However, there is a cash machine right outside.

Real Tandoori

I really enjoyed my meal. It was 'Spot On'. Delivery was fast, and the driver was, very polite.I will definitely recommend the, Real Tandoori to, my friends and family.

Bridgeview Restaurant

Had a first class festive lunch last week at the Bridge View restaurant l had roast turkey and all the trimmings it was tasty, served on a hot plate and l even had 4 types of vegetables including mashed turnip which you never get in many restaurants and fresh sprouts. The turkey was tender and moist with plenty of gravy. I then had oreo cheesecake which was absolutely delicious this is the best Christmas lunch l have had this year. The quality of the food and the good service by friendly staff is as good as what l have eaten in 5 star hotels ? l will certainly be back next year.
