Fife Lodge Hotel
Sandyhill Rd, BanffStayed here yesterday. Everything was really good! Our room was very comfy and had everything we needed. Breakfast was fab. We had a few drinks in the bar in the evening and it was perfect. All staff were efficient and very friendly. Plenty parking too. Thoroughly recommend this hotel as when we return to Banff, would definitely stay here.

Market Arms
5 High Shore, BanffAmazing little pub in the heart of Banff, we had food upstairs which was fantastic then went downstairs and had a good few drinks with all the locals. We were made to feel extremely welcome by all the staff and everybody else, we spent hours chatting to anybody and everybody in a great pub with great atmosphere. Definitely pay this place a visit if you’re in Banff.

88A Church St, Portsoy, BanffReally nice to see a freindly old-fashioned pub still open these days. Most of them are trying to be wetherspoons or look like a dentists waiting room but this place still looks like a pub is ment to look. Staff are great it's always full of families feels like a big living room. The boat building workshop next door has a glass front too so you can see all the progress of boats being built.

Seafield Arms
5 Chapel St, Whitehills, BanffWe booked the apartment for one night and we couldn’t sleep for one second the three of us. Whoever closed the bar that night forgot to switch off the jukebox and load music was on from midnight till morning. Went downstairs and nobody was available to help us with the issue, I personally messaged the owner and no reply at all or apologise. He should’ve had the decency to apologise and refund us for not being able to sleep at all.
So disappointed, we actually had dinner and drinks there, the service was excellent. Pity that it had to end up with this.

Garden Arms Hotel
69 Main St, Gardenstown, BanffVery hospitable pub, the locals make you feel very welcome. Beers are ok, shame there’s no cask but keg is fine. The best haddock I have ever tasted. We will definitely come back.

The Old School, Boyndie, BanffWe had a 'light' lunch of soup and scones with tea yesterday and it was exceptional! Fabulous soup (broccoli & stilton), generous portions of everything and great value for money! Lovely to see so many young staff working so well under the attentive supervision of clearly experienced ladies ... well done!

The County Hotel
32 High St, BanffOur stay at the County House was delightful. Eric and his wife gave us the warmest welcome. Eric cooks divinely - dinner and breakfast were both amazing. We were in a lovely room with an absolutely gorgeous view on the town and the sea. Thank you!

Indian Garden Restaurant and Takeaway
27 Bridge St, BanffSit down meal with these guys tonight, and wow, from start to finish everything well presented and extremely tasty, probably the best meal if had in a long time, or at least 2nd best as wife's always no1. Thanks guys, well deserved pat on the back.

Harbucks Cafe
7 Harbour Street, Gardenstown, BanffThe ladies who were working yesterday were fantastic! They served us quickly and delivered pancakes and coffee fast. Payment was cash only in a donation box. The prices are 'suggestions' so you can pay less or more than the list but prices are so cheap anyway. £3.50 for a pancake with toppings, £2 odd for coffee. I would definitely recommend getting more than 1 topping since the pancake is sizeable.
I got caramel sauce and strawberries on and the portion was spot on, my partner got just chocolate sauce and it looked a bit silly in comparison ? pancake was a solid 8/10.
For how busy it was, there weren't enough seats, and it was quite loud. A very big contrast to everywhere else in the local area. But it's popular for a reason!
All donations seem to go to local charities so I'd recommend visiting here at least once.

Castleview Bed and Breakfast
27 Castle St, BanffJust stayed the one night, however we wish it had been for longer. Our accommodation was spotless and very cosy. A nice touch by the hosts, Nick and Mo, to provide toiletries for the shower room, as well as milk and tea bags. Nice and quiet ( we’re used to gulls ), central location, with the harbour and beach 5 minute walk away. Thoroughly recommended. Dek, Prim and Storm the dog.

Didn't disappoint, service was quick, chappie was really friendly and food was amazing...may have to try and get a kebab in before I leave after Christmas x As a visitor, I would full recommend to anyone else holidaying in the area

4 Lusylaw Rd, BanffI travel from Birmingham every week and we both think the food is absolutely incredible. Fresh and hot fish. Cannot recommend this chippy enough. And the price, well I would definitely pay double what I paid for our food. Absolutely amazing, we will be returning. The lady who serves us was lovely and it really makes a difference.

22 Seafield St, Portsoy, BanffSpent 2 nights here, and wouldn't hesitate to come back, the breakfast was hot and plentiful, plus the buffet bar was good before I had my full Scottish breakfast, clean room, the decor may not be up to modern IKEA look, but I personally liked it as it was, with a hotel comfy feel about, I didn't have the evening meal as we were off exploring the area, however I did see people having a meal and it looked nice, all the staff I met were friendly and very helpful, a big thumbs up from me ?

Bridgeview Restaurant
13 Old Market Pl, BanffI think for the price it would maybe nicer to have better quality ingredients. And a bit more care gone into the way things are cooked ie a hard poached egg. Won’t stop me coming back, just expected something a little different at breakfast. M
The pancakes are massive but very dry.
The lunchtime however was amazing.
