We both had soup + sandwiches and a scone with tea + coffee. All was lovely, bread really fresh + plenty of filling. Soup home-made. Had a bit of a wait but it was really busy + we were kept informed. Worth the wait. Staff, volunteers were great, all friendly. Will return.

Decent choice menu - nothing fancy but all looked fresh. Very good value (e.g. soup and sandwich deals, and coffee for £7.50). That's partly due to the volunteers in a community cafe, so it has low overheads. The setting is fine, in an old church converted for community spaces, and tables and seats in the glazed porch enable a lot of watching the world go by (at 20 mph through the village).

Great coffee and hot chocolate, some of the tastiest rolls and square sausage I have ever had. Staff were excellent, mostly volunteers I believe. I will need to return here the next time I am in the area.Wheelchair accessibility: Access ramp for wheel chair users.
