Went for dinner for a large family gathering. Never been in the pub before and was pleasantly surprised. Atmosphere in front pub was good. Service in adjacent function area was great with friendly staff and the food, although fairly limited menu choice, was tasty and large portions. Also it was dog friendly. Would recommend.
We had some Fantastic quality food here, and great value for money all in the beautiful town of Brechin. We came down on a holiday from Shetland to visit friends and family and we had the brig reccomended and it did not disappoint. We could also relax afterwards with a few drinks and a game of pool. Staff and regulars were all very welcoming.

My son,wife and I stopped at the Bridgend bar on Thursday 25 may. I had the steak pie which was really tasty. My wife has scampi with chips and salad and my son had the chili con carne and they both said it was lovely. Overall we got a warm welcome from the staff and the locals We would definitely recommend and we will definitely be going back.
